Simple Strawberry Blueberry “Dessert”

If you’re like us, a little something sweet at the end of a meal hits the spot. This is a super easy healthy alternative to dessert. 


Slice fresh strawberries into a bowl and add equal part fresh blueberries. 


Toss with a teaspoon or up to a tablespoon of pure maple syrup, raw honey, raw sugar, or sweetener of your choice. 


Add 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon and if you like it, a sprinkle of ground nutmeg. I love fresh-grated nutmeg so I keep whole nutmeg around for treats like this. 


Toss and serve.
